Vanessa is an Accredited Access Consultant and qualified Building Surveyor with over 18 years of experience in Local Government, bringing extensive expertise in building regulation, compliance, and disability access. Her strong regulatory background, combined with her practical knowledge of accessibility requirements, enables her to deliver effective and compliant access consulting solutions across a diverse range of developments.

Since joining Vista Access Architects in 2015, Vanessa has been an integral member of the team, working collaboratively with architects, designers, engineers, government agencies, asset managers, and building owners to ensure disability access requirements are successfully integrated into projects from planning through to completion. Her collaborative approach helps deliver buildings that are inclusive, functional, and compliant with the National Construction Code (NCC), relevant Australian Standards, and disability access legislation.

Vanessa has extensive experience providing access consulting services across commercial, government, education, healthcare, residential, and public infrastructure projects. She is committed to achieving practical, cost-effective accessibility outcomes that support inclusive communities while meeting legislative and regulatory requirements.

Based in Queensland (QLD), Vanessa leads the delivery of all Queensland-based access consulting projects for Vista Access Architects. Her expertise in building compliance, disability access, and stakeholder collaboration ensures clients receive practical advice and innovative accessibility solutions that create welcoming, inclusive environments for people of all abilities.
